CITY PARKS
The City of Hoisington offers several parks where residents and vistors can walk, run and play. Many of the City's parks have play equipment where children can swing and slide; our parks offer lighted basketball, tennis courts as well as picnic tables for summer cookouts. Feel free to check out Scentral Bark, the City's new dog park, or try your hand at pickle ball at Bicentennial Park. All of our City parks are operated and maintained by the Public Works Department.
BICENTENNIAL PARK
Located at Sixth and Monroe, Bicentennial Park is the City's premiere park features play equipment, a lighted tennis court, lighted ballfields, picnic shelters, horseshoe pits, a one-mile walking trail, pickleball courts and the City's newest park, Scentral Bark. This park is within walking distance of the City's swimming pool.
HERITAGE PARK
Located at 500 West First St., Heritage Park features a butterfly garden, a lit basketball court, a tennis court, playground equipment and picnic shelters.
PRIDE PARK
Pride Park is located at 400 East Third St. and is home to the Friendship House which serves as the headquarters for the Commission on Aging. The park also features play equipment, tennis and basketball courts along with picnic areas.
